How to Manage concerns regarding Children who Resist Contact with a Parent in FDR

Increasingly we are seeing issues regarding children who resist contact with a parent in FDR. These are complex and difficult matters to mediate as parents tend to approach these situations in a highly positional manner, whereby they focus on blaming the other parent for the child’s refusal.  This webinar will look at the reasons why children may resist contact with a parent and the reasons why the parents should work together to overcome this behaviour in a child’s best interests if there are no safety issues involved. The skills required to mediate this concern in FDR will be discussed in this webinar.
