Masterclass – Intake Training

The mediator can use the Intakes to prepare themselves and the parties constructively for the mediation. The Intake process provides an opportunity for the mediator to gather information and find out more about what is sometimes not being said, to uncover the party’s positions and interests and to coach the parties in negotiation and problem-solving.  Intake helps mediators to prepare for the unpredictable. It provides an opportunity to challenge the party’s positional belief systems and to assist them to reality test their alternatives/options in preparation for the mediation.

This Master Class will teach the importance of NMAS intake sessions and how to conduct an Intake based on the NMAS requirements.

This is a 2 day Masterclass, day 1 theory and day 2 supervised practice
