Neuroscience and Cognitive Bias

Over the past few decades insights from Neuroscience have informed mediation practice and how parties make decisions. As mediation provides a decision-making forum for parties in dispute it is helpful for mediators to understand some of the principles of neuroscience and the implications for facilitating constructive outcomes. It is also helpful for mediators to understand how cognitive biases can ‘hijack’ the rational brain and influence decision making. This webinar will examine these insights from neuroscience and will highlight the implications for s in managing cognitive biases
