Mediation / Family Dispute Resolution

Mediation and Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) has come a long way in the last few decades and is now recognized as an effective dispute resolution process for a range of commercial and interpersonal disputes.

During this time the formal training and accreditation of Mediators and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners (FDRP) has improved significantly on the global education stage.

Parties and representatives in these dispute resolution processes are becoming more sophisticated and discerning as they choose an organization; process and / or practitioner to conduct their mediation / FDR process.

Mediators and FDRPs knowledge and skills continue to evolve and enhance as we are informed by a range disciplines, jurisdictions and a growing body of research.  As Practitioners we must ensure that we fulfill our obligations and provide a high standard of service and ensure ethical practice when conducting mediations and FDR.

“Becoming a mediator and going out into the field was daunting to say the least. Being a member of GPD has provided the extra professional support and reassurance that I needed. GPD not only provides me with extra training and interesting webinars, but the staff at GPD interact with me on a personal level and I feel guided by their wealth of experience.”
Jenna Phillips
“What motivated me to join GPD was to continue to learn the real experiences from Robyn, Linda and Bobbi 's practice. With rich experiences and clientele from different areas of mediation, GPD trainers have provided lots of practical and insightful knowledge on their webinars. It's a wonderful way to fill some missing dots from the principles we learnt to the real-world practice. I really enjoyed all the webinars and definitely highly recommend to other mediation professionals to join.”
Flora Zhang
“I first joined Global Professional Development because it was a convenient way to maintain my CPD obligations. However, it has turned out to be far more than that. It is helping me enormously in the expansion of both my mediation and business development skills. I am indebted to Bobbi, Robyn and Linda for the way in which they so generously share their wealth of knowledge and experience. Their webinars and resources are of an exceptionally high standard.  I recommend membership of GPD. It is such a valuable investment that will greatly assist in professional growth.”
Lyn Bennett April 2020
"Bobbi, Linda and Robyn have helped me to start my own business. They are prompt in answering my questions and nothing has ever been a problem. The webinars are extremely informative and interesting due to Bobbi's, Linda's and Robyn's individual style and experience: this combined together makes a great team. I highly recommend GPD"
